Added products to GSP (Generalized System of Preferences) Eligibility and AGOA countries
The United States of America added 27 travel and luggage goods products to GSP eligibility for least developed beneficiary developing countries (LDBDCs) and AGOA countries. The products have been added by the proclamation issued on June 30, 2016 to implement the results of the 2015/2016 GSP Annual Product Review.
According to this proclamation travel and luggage goods products from LDBDCs and AGOA countries will receive duty-free treatment under GSP. Out of the 27 travels and luggage goods products, 11 products representing leather and plastic products, and the remaining 16 products are textile goods.
